The original tapestry, woven in the early 16th century is on display in the Cluny Museum in Paris. It is part of six original tapestries in the "Lady with Unicorn" Series. It is the only one in the series not devoted to one of the five senses. The tapestry depicts a beautifully clad lady before a tent, crowned by a banner which translates “To My Only Desire”. During the middle ages it was believed that only an innocent girl could approach a unicorn.
